Now that you're done making a huge deal out of the defense spending (which Obama increased, sending 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan), let's compare it to the Left-lead mega spending bills. $800 Bil. for "Stimulus" and $1,000 Bil. (Trillion) on "Health Care Reform" and $500 to $1,000 more Bil. on interest and extended spending! That's 7 to 10 times the $315 Bil. you illustrated last. According to these measurements, that's about like two sets of twin towers (as in NY's enemy-destroyed towers). Check your measurements, and use the same scare-tactics in regards to the current spending in Washington. We should not be spending so much federally. Give the money back to the tax payers. A flat 20% tax for all government on everyone is fair and more than enough. That's nearly $3,000,000,000,000 annually. The government can also sell land for $8,000,000,000,000 total (higher now) and give 95% back to tax-payers. $100,000 to each tax-payer to start a retirement or business or pay off unsecured debt.
